Ayodhya Verdict
Supreme court announced its verdict on Ayodhya land dispute yesterday. It divided the land into 3 equal parts and divided them into Hindus, Muslims and Nirmohi Akhara. And it adjudged that disputed land has been place of worship for Hindu's since time immemorial. What i find funny about this whole affair is that why should court decide that where a temple or mosque should be built. Courts has been formed for upholding the law. But in this case what i surmise that since this was a matter of national interest, so court acted as an arbitrator between different parties. And what arbitration has the court achieved. The case has stretched for 60 years. Several persons parties to dispute has died. And more so the case would be now fought in supreme court where it would again extend for 10-15 years. And what would would this achieve. I am a hindu. I also follow my religion sincerely. I knew that a temple have been broken to erect a mosque there by Babar. But besides that why should i care ...
