Greece trip
We went on a trip to Greece in the first week of May. The weather was very pleasant during the time. Greek people were very helpful and kind to us. We landed at Athens airport on 1st May. Athens airport was 30-40 km away from city centre. We had planned to go to city centre by Bus. But on 1st May, bus services were mostly closed due to labour day. We boarded a cab to go to city. The cab driver was a very kind woman. She gave us tip on Greece cuisine and places to see. Cab services in city uses GPS sytem for navigation like Uber. We visited Acropolis next day. It was nice to see ruins of Acropolis. In the evening we visited the city beach. The weather was very nice at this time of the year. There was always cool breeze blowing. Next, we visited the island of Santorini. It is 40 minutes flight away from Athens. It was the reason we chose Greece for our travel destination. Santorini is dotted with cliffs facing the sea.
