Protector of Humanity
Last 75 years have been the longest period of peace in humanity history. For eons citizens have been laying down their lives for whims and fancies of elites. But nuclear weapons make sure if there is a war between nuclear nations then not only there will be mutual assured destruction but also leaders of the countries will not escape the consequences of their own actions. But increasingly interconnected nature of world financial markets also plays a small but important role. If there is a war between India and Pakistan then both USA and China would have watched with glee but interconnected nature of financial systems dont allow that. A major war between two large economies will cause huge financial loss to even the countries not involved in war. They may avoid loss of lives but they will not avoid loss to their economy.
