case study: Amit MBA gold medllist, choose between working in a startup and
working in a MNC

Basically the group discussion was on the same line on which i had been thinking
for quite a while. Though i am not a MBA gold medallist form IIM but my present
job is in a startup ,is in technical field where i want to be and i have to
choose between working in startup and IIM. So after the group discussions though i
didn.t contributed a lot , but i was very euphoric about my chances.

P2 Tell what you have learned from ur course at IITM .
ans: told i wanted to tell something about myself first.

P1: First answer this question then we will come to your question.
ans : told about chance to compete with brightest people coming from
different parts of the country.

P1: whay did you mark your interview centre as bangalore
ans told i expected to join the company in which i was placed in campus
by this time


P1 asked whether it is good studying so away from home.
ans I said its not good staying so away from your family. But it helps to learn
different culture.

P2 : asked about my strengths
ans: I said i am hardworking and i am self motivated

P2 : asked for examples
ans: told

P1: asked about where is your company, not sure when how , if they did asked did
this question

P1: What do you do you in yr job.

P2: whether i liked coding.

P1: you mentioned in your form about innovative startup, what kind of innovation are
you doing.
P1: how do you sell open source applications.

P1: asked about applications that we are developing

P1: himself gave me an example of speech recognition application, asked me followup
on that
P1: more questions on applications on speech recognition

P1: told me he is an vc , asked me to sell my company to him

here i think i did a very good job of explaining the scope of speech recognition .

finally they asked me if i have any questions for them

I asked them about scholarships, what criterios are used.

P1: then asked me about my stay at 3 different places kanpur madras and patna

then it was over
