Rau

IIM Indore is situated on a hillock, situated very far away from the city.
Its also relatively new compared to life span of other iim's. So for buying
most of the item you have to go outside of the campus. There are 2 places
where you can go. You can go either to Indore city or the nearby small town
Rau. Institute provides regular bus service for going and coming back for
both these places. Yesterday I went to Rau for buying lot of things. My general
impression as formed by hearing other people was that Rau doesn't have a big
market. I needed to buy lot of things, which i had been delaying .
So, when i reached
Rau and found a very large market, i was very pleasantly surprised. I bought
lot of things yesterday. I must say market at Rau mostly consisted of street
vendors. But there were lot of them. And you name a thing they had the thing.
