CFA level 1

I gave CFA level 1 exam before coming for this term. CFA stands for Chartered Financial Analyst. This exam is organized by CFA institute. This exam consists of 3 levels. If you pass all the 3 levels and have professional investing experience of more than 4 years you become a CFA charterholder. I think holding the CFA designation carries a lot of value. For example i was browsing through profile of google vice president of sales Nikesh Arora who is from IT Bhu. In 4 lines of description he mentioned the CFA designation at the very first line.

But i was very appalled with the level of questions of exam. The questions were very easy, except the section of ethics. Ethics carries a weightage of 15% in the exam. It was the only section which was hard. Other 85% fin was extremely easy.
Most of the questions from those 85% were repeated from Shawaser. So if you want to crack the exam you can mug the questions from Shawaser in last 3 days and that will be sufficient. But for the 15% of the exam i.e ethics you need atleast 2 weeks because not only ethics content itself is difficult. But the questions which comes in ethics are very tricky and are not repeated from anywhere.

I believe they should name the exam Chartered Financial Ethics Analyst.
