Neuro Lingustic Programming

I am reading the book on neuro linguisitic programming by Steve Andreas and Charles Faulkner. One of the methods in neuro linguisitic programming to get motivation for doing a thing is associating the end result of work with something that you want. We do this thing sub- consciously many times in our life. But when time comes to use it, we ignore it. This same thing was depicted in a very popular movie Kung Fu Panda. But how many people realized for what it was. In the movie Panda wants to become a great Kung fu master. He dreams about it. He desires it so much that he strappes himself with a pile of rockets to fire himself into the place of tournament. But when it comes to training he becomes de motivated. He does not believe he cannot complete the task set before him. But how does he finally accomplishes his objectives:

(1)First he never quits. Quitters never win
(2)He has intense desire to be but he lacks self confidence
(3)His trainer motivates him by linking the goal of training to getting food. Now the panda does not worry about gettting bashed or not succedding. Only thing he cares is the food.
(4)Finally the scroll. What was the secret it contained. It was just a mirror. There is not formula for greatness, only you have to believe in yourself.

Well the only thing about NLP was the point 3. But other points were also worth mentioning. Now other change of topic.

When i went about writing about writing this post i wanted to write about how i had applied this method, without knowing what i was doing. Obviously what i did was not the greatest thing i did. But i am pretty sure this is the primary reason for all the students got into IIT.

Basically i associated with IIT to money to girls. Well this is just a very sorry method. But it has given great results to me.
