Vamos Rafa Nadal

I have been the most ardent fan of Roger Federer. I still remember how i started following tennis. It was 2003, newspapers were abuzz with praise for Andy Roddick, the man who was supposed to usurp Pete Samprass as world nor 1. I  intrigued watched his semifinal against Roger Federer who was relatively unknown player at that time, playing in his first grandslam semifinal. And what Federer completely smoked him. And he went on to win his first grandslam.

Then Nadal came. In the beginning i hated him. He did not played with the same beauty or class as Federer. But he still was able to beat him. There was a year when federer lost only four times in a whole year and all 4 times were to nadal.

But how things change. I watched Nadal vs Berdych final yesterday. Its amazing how much Nadal has improved his game. And how much things have changed. Its now first time that Nadal is the undisputed world nor 1. Even if he does not win even a single game in this calender year. He will be the world champion.
