I was wondering about recent events that have taken place in the world. There is wiki leaks which blew the lid off the lies that American politicians and diplomat had been telling to the world. Now no government can feel secure when telling lies to its people. In India also there has been sudden rise in number of scams that have been exposed. Not only exposure of scams that is important. Previously if governments used to take wrong actions, then still many of its citizens did not come to knew of it. Now in the age of information it is becoming more and more difficult for governments to escape accountability for their actions. And it takes no time today for a spark to transform into a raging fire. And if the government still refuse the listen, then the same medium which can expose them can also bring them down. In Campus placements lot of companies for recruitment. Having been part of placements at both iit and iim, i have seen that its usually the case that lot of companies offering very different profiles are coming to campus. If you apply to all the companies, you will get shortlists in many companies in which you are not interested. But at the end of the day you will get placed in the company in which you have been always interested. So its better to choose one or maximum two areas of interest and prepare and apply for only companies coming in that area. This way you get time to prepare for companies that you are likely to clear.

I was thinking about similarities between life and a journey through a jungle. I found there are certain similarities between life and journey. 1) If you have map of jungle you can clearly cross through the jungle similarly in life we must try to learn from success and mistakes of others. We must seek mentors whenever we want to achieve a particular goal. 2) In the jungle if you are without map, then your best chance of escaping comes if you stick to a particular path then you can be certain that you will get out of it. Similarly in life once you have made a decision and chosen a path then you must stick to it regardless of any setbacks on the way. 3)If we keep thinking about why we have reached a particular place, then we will be not able to move forward. A chapter in life ends and a new chapter begins. Though it feels like my whole life has changed, still i do not find any difference in me. I am still the same person i think in the same manner. I walk, eat and talk in the same manner. I still have the same lifestyle. But it seems that there has been a change, something that is affecting the beliefs and value that i held. I am feeling more calm and relaxed. I feel as if there is some meaning to my life. I think that such thoughts are wrong, because at the end of the day i have just got a job. Getting a job is just a transition, it is not an end, it is just another stumbling block crossed in the journey of life. But yes, i have got a job, i have got a job. I was losing my sleep and all my hopes were shattering down to earth. But then came Crisil. And i am placed. Peace
