I wonder how many people in the world have died due to hatred caused by religion. Since thousands of years people of different religious faith are fighting with each other. Probably millions of people have died due to hatred caused due to religion. In second world war alone 6 million jews were exterminated by Nazis. India and Pakistan have been fighting half a century for a piece of land because Pakistan believes that since Kashmiris are muslims they should be part of Pakistan.

The core of every religion is very good and almost the same. Every religion preaches love and peace. Most of the religion were started by one person like jesus who was a messanger from god for their religion. But problems happens when their followers modified their teachings and added their own. Did Mohammad said muslim women have to wear Burqa. He never preached killing of innocents.

It is absolutely certain that in worst possible forms no religion teaches you to claim lives of people of other religion to protect your own religion or sacrificing yourself for killing others. Is not life is about being the best you can be. Is not it about living it to the fullest extent possible. Why does no religion teaches you to be happy. Why does every religion every teaches to be constrained.

What thing religious monks and gurus have ever achieved. Why does thousands of people die everywhere taking religious pilgrimage. How can god let those people die who have come to his place to ask.

Questions like this make me to don't believe in god. People live and die by result of their own actions. Religion is good for instilling discipline in someone. But beyond that it does no good.
