Nikolay Davydenko, who consistently was in top 5 for 5 consecutive years, has lost his form after wrist injury.

Infact some may also say he has outlasted Nadal. Only time will tell how much stronger Nadal comes back from his injury. But in the meanwhile Federer is playing as if time had never passed. He has won 75 of his past 82 matches. He has regained the World Nor 1 ranking. He won Wimbeldon for the seventeenth time. He bageled Djokovic in their last match. And he comes as favorite into the last grandslam of the season.
