Penang - Langkawi Trip

I went to Penang along with my wife Pallawi on official trip in April 2018. At the end of the trip, we also visited the island of Langkawi. Both of the cities are in Malaysia.

SEBI had conducted exam of Python language. On basis of my performance in the exam I was selected with other people for training in Data Analytics in Penang.

Penang is also an island like Langkawi but Penang is a commercial hub while Langkawi is full of natural beauty, still in Penang there are lots of places to visit. We visited many places in Penang but among them Penang Hill and Kek Lok Si Temple are the best places to visit.

 Kek Lok Si  temple is situated on a hill. Walls of main prayer room of temple is decorated with paintings and sculptures.

 You have to take a tram to reach the top of Penang Hill, where you have a scenic view of the city.

After Penang we visited Langkawi for a day. Due to short duration of our trip we could only visit few places. We visited Lagkawi Sky Bridge and took a tour to 3 islands of Lankawi. Both were amazing experiences.

Langkawi Skybridge is located at the end of  nearly 10 minutes long cable car. I have never experienced a cable car ride before so such a long cable car ride was both very scary and exciting. But when you reach the skybridge it is a very awesome view.

But then how can I forget Pantai Cenang Beach in Langkawi. Our hotel was located just few 100 meters away from the beach. So we spent hours on beach. Visiting the Pantai Cenang beach early morning was one of top 2 beach experiences.

All in all Malaysia was a very exciting experience. Someday I will visit Lankawi again for a longer vaccation.
