Terrorist did a very big attack on Indian security forces in Pulwama. Terrorist for first time used  modus-operandi of suicide bombing in Kashmir.  They had gumption to attack convoy of military personnel. The ammunition used in attack was military grade. And 40 Indian soldiers died in the attack.
Clearly such an attack warranted a big response.  If army is not allowed to take measures to protect themselves.  How can the rest of India remain safe.  If such an attack is allowed to go unpunished then how long before terrorists are executing such attacks in Delhi. If left unpunished next attack could be even worse.  It is not India which is seeking war with Pakistan but these terrorist elements. Holding peace talks can only embolden these terrorists.

In response Indian Air Force attacked Jaish-e Mohammed camp in Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  province of Pakistan. They  have claimed to have dropped bombs on training camp of Jaish - E- Mohammed.  Third party sources have claimed that around 300 terrorist are dead.
Pakistan has admitted that Indian planes attacked Balakot.  But they claim that Indian planes had to turn back without completing their mission.  First they claimed that Indian aircraft only entered 3-5 km inside their territory and had to turn ejecting their payload in haste. Later they had to admit that Indian planes had crossed Pakistan occupied Kashmir and dropped bombs in Balakot city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  province.
Now the Pakistan camp is claiming that only few trees were harmed. The same people are not letting international media go near the site of attack.

In the face of growing international condemnation, Pakistan has also started to pretend to act against terrorists.

But all opposition parties are doing is asking government to not politicize attack on Balakot. Some parties are going even further and asking proof of attack and number of casualties.

This has been India's biggest diplomatic victory since Bangladesh War. In spite of such a big step by India, all countries are only criticizing Pakistan.


But many politicians who have no clue how to handle terrorism are only busy criticizing government.
